    Hi guys:

what are the best books(easy to understand) you would suggest me to become good at writing SQLRPGLE progams..
Also I need an easy book on Debugging RPGLE &SQLRPGLE &Cl programs..
Its nearly 2 years I ve been on AS/400...

I dont see many females working on AS/400 (not in NY atleast)....what you guys think?

    Re: SQL books

    Donna,

Here are a couple I own
SQL for eserver i5 and Iseries (kevin Forsythe)
SQL/4010 developers guide (paul conte & mike cravitz)
The iseries pocket SQL guide (brian kelly)

I would agree there arent enough females working on the
Iseries but what else would a nerdy programmer say

    Take care

I got the earlier release of the Conte/Cravitz book, the "SQL/400 developers guide."

IBM may be interested to hear how Jamie got the guide for their top secret 4010 series systems but I shan't tell.

And you think you got it bad - females aren't allowed at my work at all.
I tell ya they don't pay me enough !!!

This one's a little older, but the info is still valid.

One other one you might look at is "Control Language Programming for the AS/400" (Myers & Riehl)

Jamie might disagree with that one.. but, it does provide an insite to running things on the ISeries.

Thanks a lot for all the suggestions.
Iam using websphere on & off for coding frm last few days, whats the best book to refer on eclipse iseries(websphere studio client for iseries)?
Iam buying SQL for eserver i5 and Iseries(kevin Forsythe), hope it helps me at SQLRPGLE programs.

              Thanks
