We use the technique of dragging spool files from the Ops Nav/System i Navigator, (the old version) from the "Printer Output" panel onto the PC desktop or a folder on the PC.
This technique has worked a treat for decades.
I installed Ops Nav 7.1 on a Windows 10 Pro PC, applied the usual patch to Ops Nav and everything looks OK. Except when the user drags a spool file from Ops Nav (V7.1) the spool transfer put a .PDF file type onto the PC and that file is empty/0KB.
Why does Ops Nav create a .PDF type, every other install creates a .TXT file type. Is there a way to configure Ops Nav to create .TXT file types?
And I know I should be using the new Access Client but I've not got time for that right now.
