  • ovrprtf to pdf

Hope everyone is enjoying the end of the world. I am tying to do an ovrprtf to a pdf (shown below). It seems that blanks are being removed if there is more than one. Example: DCE201C 03/20/20, with 4 blanks is showing as: DCE201C 03/20/20 with one blank. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

    OVRPRTF FILE(DCE205O) DEVTYPE(*AFPDS) +
    TOSTMF(&PATH) WSCST(*PDF)

Blanks where? If in the command, try using the [CODE] tags (should be the # button in the post toolbar) so it doesn't reformat what you post.

Here is the output i am getting on the PDF: DCE201C'b'03/20/20 (where 'b' is the blank). I want it to be like this: DCE201C'bbbb'03/20/20, so it should show 4 blanks.

I've certainly never heard of OVRPRTF doing this.

It sounds more like what you'd expect from a web browser.

So the &PATH variable is the problem? How are you loading it?

Scott, it was the browser. When viewed in the PDF viewer it's fine. Sorry about that, I should have verified with the viewer.
