  • xlsx file exported by dtfx can't be read by external pivot table

I use pivot tables linked to daily downloaded XLSX files with ACS filetransfer dtfx.
Now the pivot tables can't read the daily downloaded XLSX files any more. I've to open and save the XLSX files 1 by 1 so that the pivot tables can use the downloade XLSX files.
What could me the problem or a setting in the dtfx file to get a working XLSX file without open and saving this Excel file?

This comes late, is just an idea that does not really answer your question and may not be helpful in your case at all--it’s just how I would do it:

In Excel, you can use PowerQuery to read data from sheets of another Excel workbook.
So you could establish a connection to your xlsx file in the IFS from a workbook that additionally has a sheet with the pivot table.

In the properties of the connection you can choose to have the data refreshed each time you open the workbook.
No need to download anything manually anymore and no struggling with dtfx files.
