Can someone recommend a good book to get me up to speed on programming in free form RPG. I am considering picking up Free Format RPG IV by Jim Martin. It's on Ebay for 37.99.

    Thanks,

    Re: Free Form RPG

Hey, I used RPG IV third edition by bryan meyers & Judy Yaeger. I like the 2nd edition by Judy so I picked up the third. Nice book for the basics.

      I have that book.

      Lots of good information.

The problem I am having is moving from RPG3 to ILE plus Free Format.

Things that use to be so simple now require 3 books and a forum to understand.

if you already know RPG...i use this ALOT:
              http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/iserie...c092508402.htm
it has both fixed format and the free-format equivalent.
