Testing DSPF Files

Hi guys,

Is there a way to automatically pipe/feed input to a DSPF screen by using a script or program? What techniques do you take to run tests on programs using DSPF files?

Number of options that I know of. One is the commerical product Axes from lansa https://www.axeslive.com/host-integration-api.htm

Arcad also have automated testing tooling that I believe includes 5250.

There are a couple of folks working on enabling one of the major Open Source testing tools to run on IBM i. Name escapes me but follow worksofbarry to know the status.
