  • TTO Extension files in IFS

    Hi,

    I have come across TTO extension files in IFS. Could any one of you share what is the purpose of the .TTO extension files and how it is useful? I didn't much detail when i searched for it. Any information will be useful.

    they are old iseries data transfer files...created thru client access I think-- Its been a while.
    All my answers were extracted from the "Big Dummy's Guide to the As400"
    and I take no responsibility for any of them.

      Yes, these are the file transfer description files for uploads "to" the iSeries from a PC. The opposite direction created a file with the "TFR" extension. There are also "FDF" extenstion files that are the file and fields references for a file transfer.
