I have two IFS directories both are set with permissions *all. I can copy over data from one of the directories but when I try and copy a file from the other I get access denied. I did check and when I look at the permissions on the file in the directory I can't copy it says exclude.

    1. How do I change my permissions and why will one directory copy and not the other.

    Thanks,

    DAC

    Re: Permissions

    Hi DAC:

If this is a 1 time thing...
    Code:
    wrklnk '/mydir/mysubdir/'
Do that from a green screen.
Find your file and change authorities using Option 9.

I'm sure there are more elegant methods available.

are both folders directly under root?
Would you please post the path to each?

      thanks
