  • Find what subsystem job queue is allocated to

Am I being thick here? How can I see what subsystem a job queue is allocated to if the subsystem isn't running? Short of doing WRKSBSD on all subsystems, I'm stumped. Google doesn't seem to have an answer either.

    Cheers,
    R

Oh and for the record there is some sort of SQL view you can use but the system I'm on doesn't have it (V7R1M0) no PTFs since like 2014 or something.

Does this work for what you're after? https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledg...mhasjqueue.htm

I came across that result during some googling and unfortunately no; it only works if the subsystem is active.

QWDLSJBQ lists the job queues for a subsystem, whether or not it's active. Use QUSLOBJ to get a list of *SBSD

So basically the only way to do it is via an API, there's no command to view them.

Thanks for the info, will give it a shot at some point.
