  • ACS Installation - Workstation ID

I may have missed this in the documentation, so I am asking here. We are moving to ACS since iSeries Access is no longer supported. I have set up the AcsConfig.properties file with the components we want installed. However, we need to keep the same Worktation IDs that are set up in iSeries Access, and we don't want to have to touch every PC. Is there a way we can keep the same configuration for ACS that is used in iSeries Access? Thanks in advance.

The AcsConfig.properties is among other things used to specify what options are available for the users
for example that only the EMULATOR can be used. When installing ACS all options are installed, not
only the components you want the users to have access to.

But the workstation ID is not saved there. It is saved in the HOD file instead.
The HOD file should be local per user.
When installing ACS you could create a standard HOD file that is installed on the PC for every user.
