Kerberos Authentication from Java Program

I am trying for Kerb Authentication with Keytab file from As/400 using a Java program. but the authentication fails. When I do the same from QSHELL using curl it's successful though. Anyone got this problem? looking for any steps to follow to authenticate programatically.
