  • Journal / Journal Reciever

    Hi,

    Thanks for the help on previous occasions,

    My query is,

    In our application, an invalid record has been inserted to a physical file.. two days back. i wann to find which job have updated tat physical file/

    There is a journal associated with tat physical file.. i have tried with dspjrn.. but i am getting only the latest records

    And wat i found was the journal receiver associated with that journal is changing frequently, and in a time being the previous journal receiver was not found in the library

    Help me.. how to find the past records monitored by the journal.

    Note: I have the RRN value of tat record, whether by any other means, can i find the details.

    thanks in advance,
    Vinoth

    Re: Journal / Journal Reciever

    Example;

    DSPJRN JRN(TAJOURNAL/TAJOURNAL) RCVRNG(*CURCHAIN)

    The *CurChain is not the default and with out it you will not see all changes.

          Re: Journal / Journal Reciever

          It may be that the receiver which holds the change you are looking for has been deleted from your system, if you do as Jamie suggests above and you can't find the journal entry you need you may need to look at whether your receivers are backed-up.

          If they aren't then you are going to struggle unfortunately.
