  • RDi Editor : set all lines to same date

When I have a source member open in the LPEX editor, what is the keyboard shortcut (or menu option) to set all lines to the same changed date (SRCDAT)? Thanks.

I don't know if there is an explicit shortcut, but the following three commands in sequence will achieve the same result:
    Ctrl-A - Select All
    Ctrl-X - Cut
    Ctrl-V - Paste
That's what I do if I want to create a new source member as a copy of an existing member

To clarify - this will set them to the current date, not to a user-specifiable date

I can think of 2 methods.

    1) update the SRCDAT field in the source using SQL or RPG program
    2) load the source into RDI then in the first and last line type LL and Enter. Then do the same using RR. This will work assuming the first character in the line is blank.

Someone (Juan?) gave me this link in a webinar. I knew it was possible but forgot how between employers. Thanks.
