Following Jon Paris suggestion and requests from a few CGIDEV2 users, site www.easy400.net has just made available a CGIDEV2 version featuring a new command, UPDDOCX.
This command generates customized MS WORD documents from a template document.
It does all the job, except leaving to a simple user exit program the responsibility to perform the update of the "output variables".
