Is anyone else struggling to use this formerly great website?

I open the website and I think at least 10 or so advertisements cover my screen. I can't get to the top of the website I can't get to the bottom of the website. Open a forum message and you're blocked on part of it because the advertisement covers the bottom and there's no way to move the screen any further down. Pretty bad.

I tried to sign in from my work pc, but no matter what I did the advertisement would not let me click on the login. I went to my phone and even though the advertisement tried to get in my way, I somehow found a way to log on.

I don't know about anyone else but I come here so much less often now just because of this. I finally came back today and what happens when I open it, It seems like twice as many advertisements as my last wasted attempt.

It's a shame to see such a nice website go to $^($

I'm not going to stop coming when I need something, but my former everyday viewing is a thing of the past. It is just too aggravating.

I hope whoever runs it is making a fortune

I'm not seeing all those ads. Maybe my company browser is blocking them ?
But in the past I have got malicious code warning from this site, and there are various bugs with editing posts and posts getting blocked.
There don't seem to be any humans behind the scenes. I have never got a reply to various questions.
The site seems more "sketchy" than it used to.

I came here to post a similar thing.

When trying to login I couldn't click "Login/Register" or the forum links at the top of posts to go back to where you were. I inspected the page and found a hidden div taking up the top section of the screen in front of everything else. Deleting it allowed me to click the links again.

After seeing this post I suspect it was an ad that was blocked.

Honestly; when this site became affiliated with "programmers.io" is when it went down hill. I also suspect there are no human's around any more either, as I sent a "contact us" message to ask to change my user name like a year ago and didn't get a response.

Weird... I never see any ads or pop-ups of any kind...? Nothing even in the margins where your image shows lots of ads.

I exclusively use Firefox -- and have never seen this.

That said, if you're not satisfied with this site, use another one... There's mine https://www.scottklement.com/forums/ there's Midrange.com, and probably many others...

I have just started seeing this in Firefox, after clearing all cookies and cache. Before then it ws ok. And worse, the ads are constantly changing

It has still not been fixed.

Problem is in Edge and Chrome.

I never used to have this problem but it has started happening with me as well using Firefox.
The site is now almost completely unusable, I have to refresh the screen and click on links before the ads appear otherwise I can't click on the links, I assume because an ad is covering them.
Flushing caches hasn't helped. This used to be a good site but I notice few people are posting here these days and I suspect this may be one reason for it.

I did try other browsers but EXACTLY the same result. I don't believe this has anything to do with the browser.
Oddly, today I'm not experiencing any ads...
