Hi all,
Over the past weekend, the a/c in the computer room went out and the temperature got to 102!
At one point, the AS/400 sent the following message to QSYSOPR:
Message . . . . : *Attention* Contact your hardware service provider now.
Cause . . . . . : An error occurred due to an environmental condition such
as temperature, power source, user error or other problem.
Recovery . . . : Contact your hardware service provider and provide the
following list of possible failing items:
AMBTEMP
I have high severity messages sent to my Blackberry, and was alerted to the problem Sunday afternoon.
My question for the group is: Does anyone know what the temperature needs to get up to for this message to be sent?
Also, can I change this value? Since I live an hour away, I need an earlier warning.
I think the value is somewhere between 92-102 because the a/c went out again last night and the temp this morning was 92, but I did not get the message, but I did get the message over the weekend and the temp was 102 when I got here.
Thanks in advance!
