AFP -- Right Justify

I'm trying to create an item that gives people a list of what their bill would be. The description would be to the left and the amount right justified on the right.

Like so:

Item 1 123.45
Item 2 9,999.99


Unfortunately, everything is lining up off kilter -- must be due to propoprational spacing.

you will have do some manual positioning depending on the size of the number.
not fun, but doable.

Thanks -- I had an uneasy feeling it might be something like that. Have you ever had a chance to do something "fun" like this?
