AS400 print spool file generates 9999 pages of file and Printer priting repeatedly.

Hi All,

We have a serious problem with printing. AS400 print spool file generating a file with page number as 9999. Becuase of this printer is printing the same document repeatedly. This page number (9999) is also not decreasing. Still it shows as page as 9999.

Can any one give your valuable advice on this issue ?

Easy, contact the nub who made this steaming pile and tell them to fix it, unless it was made in house. In that case get that nub fix the program.

This a a program issue. When was the program last changed? by who?
