Archiving and unarchiving source code

I have about 100 source members that I have stored on my PC that I need to bring down to the System i box. Is there a way I can copy them to a single archive file (something like a save file or jar file) and then ftp/copy the archive file to the System i and then retrieve the individual source members from the archive/savf file on the System i.

What format are they in on your PC?

Also, fwiw, the System i was discontinued 14 years ago. Not sure I remember how to do anything on an system that old.

I meant the IBM i. The source code is in .txt format on my PC
