  • How to know DB2 veriosn

    Dear Support Manager,

    I am using iSeries i520 and using OS2 Version V5R3MO. now i wanted to know the version of DB2 Database. can you please help me out that how can I check it becasue there are no any DB2 version i found in GO LICPGM-10 or WRKLICINF.

    Looking forward for an immediated reply.

    found this... if on LINUX other than that ...I leave it to more qualified members...

    How to identify the specific DB2 version installed in a system and restore a db to that.. DB2 Database Forums on Bytes.

    If you are on Linux, use db2ls -a command to identify the versions
    installed.

    Could someone give it a test?

        becasue there are no any DB2 version i found in GO LICPGM-10 or WRKLICINF
        That's because on the iseries, the database is built into the operatings system. So you are on DB2-UDB V5R3. Not the same as the PC based DB2's
