  • BLOB data type

Anyone used this with DB2 on the iseries? We think it could work well for a project we are working on, but we are trying to figure out a few specifics. Hoping someone here might have used it.

Give us a few more details. What are you looking at doing? How are you considering using it? Give us something to go on here...

      Re: BLOB data type

I don't have an specific questions regarding the usage at this point. I was just trying to determine if anyone had used it and if it turned out to be a pain to utilize. Sorry I don't think I was really clear on that.

We were thinking of using a BLOB to store an array object to be used in a new process we are working on. Our boss may shoot us down anyway...she's kind of hooked on DDS.
