Hi, I am a newbie system support person and have a situation to solve. Unfortunately, I am not an administrator as such and may not have the access to find out the info I need.
Scenario: user is in charge of downloading fortnightly data (Data Transfer from iSeries) that is stored in an iSeries database file. This database file stores the output of a query that is being run by some one else/ an unidentified system job.
The results in the file show that the parameters of the query need to be expanded to pick up all the required data.
How do I find out who/what is updating the file that the user is downloading every period?
How do I find out the properties of this database file? I was thinking that there would be a userid recorded somewhere that would indicate who created/ is updating this file?
Your advice would be most appreciated.
Regards
HP
PS. I apologise if this is the wrong forum to use - this is my first post.
