  • 2 rcd formats, on same line

    Is there a way to have the same line on the display part of 2 record formats without one erasing the other. Example, FMT1 occupies lines 1 to 4 (left side of line 4), FMT2, right side of line 4 thru line 8

      Yes, that is, in effect, what I am trying to do. I thought CLRL(*NO) might do it but I haven't tried it.

        It's hard to grasp the point of doing this, but generally it's not allowed. However, you might use RCDFMT3 on line 4, and have whatever is overlapping from RCDFMT1 and RCDFMT2 moved to RCDFMT3.
