I want to be able to move from one field to the next when the user scans a field. i.e. Product_____ anything scanned moves to Quantity, anything scanned moves to the next record. I don't want the user to have to use the ENTER key or Field Exit Key. CHECK(ER) is useless as the fields will have variable lengths in the Bar Code. i.e. Product can be P7770 or P8888888 with a field length of 20 positions and the quantity can be Q4 or Q9999 or Q100 with a field length of 6. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

To my knowledge the check(er) should work fine. Where I am at now the barcodes are variable length and they do automated scanning with the Check(er) and it all works fine. -

You need to configure your scanner so that it provides a field exit or return character when you read the bar code. You should be able to find that info in the user manual for the scanner you are using.Comment
