  • PRTF, Is there a way to not print 01/01/0001 when no date?

I have a date field on a printer file, when there is no date it defaults to 01/01/0001. Is there a way to not print the 01/01/0001 and have it blank? I know how to do it on a display but can this be done on a prtf. MAPVAL(('0001-01-01' *BLANK))

i would make it a char field then if the date is as above then put blanks in the field. I know of no editC or editW that would work.

Or use an indicator on two fields - if it's on print the date, if it's off print blanks (or just not have anything for indicator not on).
