Getting Subfile Records to Blink

Hello all. I'm having a bit of a problem getting specific subfile records to blink on the screen. I have DSPATR(BL) applied to all subfile fields, using a conditioning indicator. For the records that I want to blink, I set the indicator on before I write the record to the subfile, then turn the indicator off. This appears to be working to some extent, but it is only making the records on the screen red, and they are not blinking. I'm using Client Access Version 5.8, and I checked all the settings to make sure it was set up to display blinking fields, but this didn't help.

Can anyone offer any help here?

I think this is a setting with the Client Access. If you look at it on Rumba or a 5250 terminal, it will most likely be blinking. I've seen this issue several times, but never really researched a solution. I just "knew" that the red was supposed to be blinking.
