Hello All,
I have a RPG pgm that uses STRPCO, STRPCCMD, to open up a web page. I have another RPG pgm which will receive data from a data-queue as loaded from the web page. The process works but I've noticed that the second process doesn't start it's processing until the ISERIES client access session is made active (shortly after the web page opens).
I've looked into alternative ways to display a web-page to avoid this issue but haven't found any other than RUNRMTCMD. Note...I've looked into ISOCKET programs also, but it looks like it's primary use is for WEB SERVICES.
Does anyone know of any alternatives, suggestions, etc?
