Is there a basic thread or article on the above?

We've a course here on on RPG WEB but doesn't tell you how to set up the web server. I am a complete novice on on that side of things. Not got a clue!

(Dependant on your versoin of the OS)
Open the i5/OS Information Center web site. On the left side of the page, expand the e-business and Web serving topic, then the HTTP server topic, then the Scenarios topic. These scnarios will lead you, step-by-step, through each of the basic configuration steps you need to perform in order to get a new web server configured and running.

Once you've gone through the first one, come back with any questions you may have and I'll try to help you as much as I can.
