I am trying to help our iSeries admin determine why our http processes randomly top responding.
We are running a small web site on the iSeries. Once in awhile the web site stops responding to requests, although our http jobs are still running. The only way to fix the problem (that we know of) is to stop and start the http jobs. This has always resolved the issue. We cannot correlate the problem with anything - it seems to happen randomly. We tried to periodically stop and restart the processes, thinking something must be cleaned up, but that didn't help.
I am a RPG coder with little experience in admin or in http in the
400. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
