RPG-XML - Error writing request to host

Hi,

I have been trying to invoke a java web service hosted in my LAN from the iSeries using RPG-XML suite.

The function call to RPG_getUri results in the below error and the request to the web service is not sent.

"Error writing request to host or proxy. Broken pipe. RC(1) errno(3455)."

I reviewed the parameters of the web service and everything seems to be just fine.

I have been searching the net for this error number but could not find a clue to dig the issue.

Any support or info on this is appreciated.

Hi All,

It was a connectivity issue between the iSeries and the application server.
We just had to open the firewal in our LAN to fix this. RPG-XML suite works just fine :-) and we are able to host as well as consume web services in iSeries..
