I had to reinstall Windows 10 as a refresh. Now I am attempting to reinstall IBM I Access 7.1.
I call the install and it goes through just fine until the end. I can see a couple of new icons on the desktop then after a few moments they disappear and the install says it was installed and need to reboot.
No IBM I Access is installed. It uninstalls it at the end. I have tried 1) disable/uninstall AVG 2) install as local admin 3) install in safe mode and get the same results.
The Iseries navigator icon appears on the desktop then all is uninstalled.
Short of wiping hard drive, does anybody have any ideas? Wiping hard drive will eventually come after I unload much data from it.
