  • Changed printer and now orientation is not correct

Recently the AS400 associated with a writer was replaced. After the printer was replaced the documents printed from the AS400 no longer have the correct orientation. Documents that should be in portrait are being printed in landscape and vice versa. The old printer was a Lexmark MS811DN and the new one is a Lexmark MS823DN.

Should I define a new writer and devd for the new printer?
Here's the definition of the DEVD for the old printer.

In your print file (not the devd) there's a parameter called page rotation (PAGRTT) that controls whether it's portrait or landscape. That is the first thing I'd check.

The user says they were able to get the correct orientation after fiddling with drawer settings on the printer.
