Retrieve IP address of connected device?

Is there a way to retrieve the IP address of a connected device?

All our users' devices have specific names, but sometimes we will see one that has QPADEV... I want to make a program to retrieve the IP address (or something else) of that session so that our support guys can figure out which location and machine that user is on so that they can remotely connect to it and correct the device name. There are over 100 locations and 700 users.

Assuming you mean a display or printer device, you can use the QDCRDEVD API to get the IP address. A quick google found this example from Carsten Flensburg https://apimymymy.wordpress.com/2007...-and-printers/
