  • Job in Held status, USERNAME who put it on hold.

    Hi Guys,

If I am working on WRKJOBSCDE and see a job in "held" status. How do I go about knowing which user put it on "HELD"? I am sure this job was scheduled before, but I need to figure out the reason why it was kept on hold

look at the QSYSOPR msgq. It gets a message saying what job and who did it.

if it's not there (as in the message queue has been cleared since then) then you can see if there's anything in QHST...
