What ports are required for jdbc access to the iSeries. Google shows conflicting articles ...
Some forums (see here) say these are required 446, 449, 8470, 8471, and 8476 (Non SSL) Is that correct?
IBM say here "The default port is 3470 (if the connection uses SSL, the default port is 3471)."
port 446 = DRDA
port 449 = Server Port Mapper
port 8470 = License Management
port 8471 = Database
port 8476 = Signon Verification
port 3470 = ?
Logic says IBM know what they are doing ... but it also says Signon will be required?
