Using JDBC to update SQL 2005 db?

Hi,

Someone told me I can use the JDBC on iSeries to update the db on SQL Server 2005.

Could someone give me more info, like how to setup?

What I want to do is when some fields updated in a table which is on AS400, then call some Java program to update the tables on the MS SQL Server 2005 as well.

Is that possible, I checked our AS400 and Java Compiler is already installed.
