  • regarding access path

    Hi,

i have a file which has two different journaling status :-

    1) file is journaled :- yes
    2) access path journaled: no

    and it's dependent logical file:-

access path journaled : yes( for implicit access path sharing *yes)
access path journaled : no(for access path maintenance *immed and keyed access path)

and when trying to write these files through microsoft access ODBC query then getting this error :- "[IBM][iSeries Access ODBC Driver][DB2 UDB]SQL7008"

and it's cause as per this link (https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/er...dbc-connection) is "Journaling was not switched on for the table on the AS/400"

whereas main PF and dependent LF are journaled like as mentioned above.

So what could be the cause now?

    Thanks..

    Hi,

Could someone please advise on this how to create this error and resolve this error ( resolving part i know to journal that file ) but as mentioned in my last post there was an error (SQL7008) when there was an attempt to write data base file using MS Access .

So I am still not sure how could I recreate this scenarior where this error appears and then try to resolve this error?

    Thanks much...
