What is the difference between Command Function(CF) and Command Attention(CA)?

I used these in display file for function keys. like CA03 , CF03 for function key F3.

If u give CF03 and press F3 then display file will return to program with input fields populated with what u have currently entered.

Where as if u give CA03 and then press F3 , then display file will return to program without values u have entered currently and previous values will be retained.
