in dds i am facing one problem

while compilation i am getting the error like

* CPD7812 30 1 Message . . . . : Subfile control record overlaps subfile record



what could be the reasons help me out .

Your subfile-record is overlapping the subfile-control-record, you can't have both on the same row.

Post the DDS for the display file and we can pinpoint where to change it ...

thanq i found the error now it is ok


i am writing 10 lines as control record after that 11 to 19 lines

subfile record then i mentioned one more field at 21st line in the same control record but it is not possible i think , so i wrote one more fottor record for that 21 st line now it is ok .
