Birgitta is right, of course. However, this is also true:
Dozens may be an understatement. One of my Mapics base files has over 200 logicals, including a number of Join logical, select's. omits, etc. While the rebuild idea would probably be the "right" thing to do, it is neither practical nor "safe" to delete all these Mapics logicals, unless you are very sure you know what Mapics is doing and very sure you have all the current source. Well ... that's my opinion.
I have been using the IGNORE = *YES for a few years now, and have yet to see anywhere where it hurt - at least not enough to measure.
