RDP 8.5 and TN5250j

Has anyone been able to install this and make it work? When I installed it, I started getting Java null pointer exceptions. I also get errors when I open the environment; it has a problem setting RSE back up- I get a "Restore RSE Tree' error from the null pointer exception.

If there is no way for them to work, how the heck do I uninstall tn5250j?

That's where I grabbed it, but on 8.5 it doesn't work, and I've tried it several times in different installs.
