  • Automatic indentation

I've read there is a way to turn on automatic indentation when editing RPG-FREE programs. I cannot seem to find it. I can, however, use SHIFT + CTRL + F to manually indent the selected code, which is the way I am doing it now.

Perhaps I do not have the correct version necessary.

You'll need to go to Window > Preferences > Remote Systems LPEX Editor > ILE RPG > Formatter then you can enter in the number of spaces for automatic indentation. Then go to Key Behavior, which has a checkbox for the Automatic indentation. There is also a check box for SQL under Free-form SQL Formatting.
