model 170 3590 connecting

Hi All,

Been trying to connect a 3590 tape drive to my as400, just wandered if any body thought there are config problems with the config shown below, as it is not being seen by the 400.

Is the auto-config system value enabled?

What have you connected the 3590 to?

Thanks for the reply. The system auto config variable is set to automatically pick up new devices, and the 3590 is connected via the 2729 with a diff cable and teminator on the hammerhead.
