How can you turn off the logging of the upddta command? Creates a report each time I use it, did not on earlier versions. Present version is 5.3

    Re: logging upddta command

    Hi Jim:

    from Scott Klement:
If you create a DFU with "Audit=N', it turns off the audit logs -- not just for that DFU, but from that point on, you won't get an audit log for UPDDTA, either.

To turn them back on, create a new DFU with Audit=Y (it can be a "dummy" DFU that you never use, if you wish.)

    Not very intuitive, is it?

    Sounds pretty hokey to me....

What I did previously was create a wrapper program in CL that used OVRPRTF to move the audit reports from DFU use to a specific outq that could be reviewed later in case someone did something they shouldn't have.

Not _exactly_ the same but it is one way to deal with them but still retain some sort of traceability.
