That depends on what you mean by "startup". Are you trying to write a program that runs on the System i and provides the service, or consumes the service?

I m also looking for some start-up material that would teach the following:

1. How to convert a RPG program into webservice?
2. How to invoke a webservice from RPG Program?

Do we really require a tool to achieve the above?

Please help me with your ideas and links for studying on Web Services on the iSeries..
