  • As400 DSPOBJD command

    Hi,
If I use the DSPOBJD command with detail = *SERVICE, and there is no source information displayed for the object (and I know there is a source member, in a source file and it is in my libl) what would that indicate?

    Re: As400 DSPOBJD command

i'm guessing it's a program, module or service program? if it's an ILE object, then the *SERVICE information doesn't reside in DSPOBJD simply due to the fact that a program/service program can consist of many modules even modules of different langauges, etc. therefore since *SERVICE only supports a single source it's simply not the correct method for displaying that info. for programs use DSPPGM, modules DSPMOD and DSPSRVPGM for service programs
